Our 60th Diamond Anniversary Celebration kicks off with brilliance. Lauded for her dazzling technique and stunning power, violinist Jennifer Frautschi treats us to her uniquely personal, expressive tone with Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.  To honor the Symphony’s first ever concert, Gliere’s Russian Sailor’s Dance is performed during a nostalgic photo montage.  The evening ends with the high energy Latin dance rhythms of Bernstein’s West Side Story Symphonic Dances.
