Music Director Brian C. Clissold has conducted the Battle Creek Community Chorus since 1998. A 1996 graduate of Western Michigan University, Mr. Clissold has performed extensively both as a soloist and conductor, receiving awards in both areas. Mr. Clissold currently teaches private voice in the Community Music School of the Music Center. In addition to leading the Chorus in its own concerts, Mr. Clissold prepares the Community Chorus for productions with the Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra. Honored to be a part of its 60 year heritage in the community of Battle Creek, Mr. Clissold is only the third director to lead the Chorus.
