Fiddles 'n' Strums

For grades 1-3. Held at Fuller Street Elementary School in Nashville. Kids learn to play and enjoy American grassroots music on violin or guitar. Presented in partnership with the Nashville Fiddlers, this 16-week course teaches note reading and playing by ear. Weekly 45-minute classes Wednesdays after school, October to April. Concert at end of each semester. Taught by Steve Youngs and Tina Horrigan. Instruments provided for a nominal fee. Tuition $70 plus $20 registration fee [waived for currently enrolled CMS students].
