ARS VOCE
Ars Voce ("the vocal art") is an ensemble of 12 singers performing the a cappella music of many centuries, from sacred classics and madrigals of the Renaissance, to the unique music of early America, to contemporary expressions, sacred and secular. Directed by Dr. Mark Wells, Ars Voce has sung to enthusiastic audiences at the Stratford Festival of Canada, and in England at the Royal Northern College of Music and the cathedrals of Chester and Winchester. Whether in performances with the Battle Creek Boychoir or Girls' Chorus, or engagements of their own, Ars Voce brings a polished and elegant approach to the vocal art. Ars Voce maintains a busy schedule of performances in the community. For information on auditioning for Ars Voce or for hiring the ensemble for your event, please contact Dr. Mark Wells via email or at 269-963-1911 x2587.
